Check the Journal A-Z List to see if the library has full-text access to the journal for the date range you need.
Check JSTOR’s open access content options. JSTOR is a premier provider of academic content. Some of its content is free; in addition, users can sign up for a limited number of downloads per month for its subscription-based items by registering for a free account.
Enter the title of the journal article or book chapter you need into Google Scholar to see if the item is available for free on the open web. You can find other options for accessing free scholarly material at the Internet Archive and HathiTrust.
Check other recommended open access options on the library’s Databases List such as the Directory of Open Access Books and the Directory of Open Access Journals.
